Michael Hettinger

Registered Patent Attorney

Michael is the founding partner of Hettinger & Hettinger, P.C. After nearly 20  years of civil and criminal litigation, Michael now also offers complete intellectual property law services. Michael devotes approximately half of his time to patent, trademark and copyright issues. The other half of his time is spent on general litigation matters including civil litigation, criminal litigation and family law.

Michael is one of the most educated attorneys practicing law in Michigan. He has earned well over 400 college credits and is well educated in nearly every area of science.  He has completed the majority of science courses required for a Ph.D. Michael earned his doctorate in law from Notre Dame. He also holds degrees in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy and Philosophy. He is a Registered Nurse and a Respiratory Therapist.
